Buyers today in Portugal are, at the moment, not only looking at the Algarve. CLIMATE
The Algarve enjoys almost year-round sunshine and clear, blue skies. The hottest months can see summer temperatures of around 25-28 degrees centigrade, with very little rainfall. The coldest time of the year in the Algarve is from December through January and February, when you can expect temperatures to fall to around 15 degrees centigrade – still pretty clement compared to the ‘see your breath in the air’ bite of the British winter. It is this warm, Mediterranean climate which has kept foreign sun-seekers coming back to Portugal year after year.
Although the other areas of Portugal are a bit cooler than the Algarve, they are still mild comparing to the climate in the UK.
